Suites: With private entrance, this suite features a large fireplace. It includes a generous seating area with sofas and a bar with a convertible corner in a comfortable room with to extra beds.
LCD TV features in the bedroom and living room. The use of extra beds was planned to allow full use of living space enabling sharing with privacy. For customers who want to cook we have two suites with kitchen.

 
Studio: All our studios - except two, which have fantastic views of the sea - have large verandas enabling enjoyment of our gardens in summer and winter.
These rentals are generously sized and have a bar equipped with electric kettle to provide tea or coffee. This room and Standard Deluxe rooms can be connected, allowing families and groups share the same lodging and at the same time maintaining privacy.

 
Standard Deluxe: These rentals, which have the same size as a standard room (20 square meters) have an extra hall (4 square meters) a comfortable work area and a mini bar.

Restaurant Fonte Cuisine, known in the past as Hocus Pocus, is an hotel restaurant open to the local community of Pico Island, raised prestigious with its  Chinese Food Buffet, every Friday night, an almost mandatory frequency point. In a continuous improvement perspective Fonte Cuisine is now releasing a new menu concept designated as "New Açoriana Kitchen".

 
Signature cuisine that mixes the new culinary techniques with the flavors and traditional products of the Azores. In addition to the main restaurant Fonte Cuisine features a large lounge, located between the hotel gardens Aldeia da Fonte providing special moments of leisure.

CLIMBING PICO MOUNTAIN | TREKKING
Discover the hidden beauties of Pico Island at your own pace. Let us take you to special places, whether historic in nature or just naturally beautiful.Use our marked maps to explore old monuments, churches, historic locations, villages, breathtaking landscapes and some remote trails used by the first settlers.From high places, enjoy the beautiful green meadows and farmland that contrast with the deep blue of the ocean. Notice how the little white villages look like they are “sprayed” on the green hillsides.
 
Take time to enjoy the local handicrafts and folklore as well as the unique gastronomy of the region. We can provide you with maps of the walking trails. If you prefer to venture further, choose our guided trekking circuits, the perfect way to explore our island, its history and culture. Pico Island offers a set of official marked trails that you can walk alone after obtaining their maps. If you prefer you can opt for guided trails within we highlight the "Donkey’s Trail" that runs through the island and that was an important mean of communication.                                                                                                         
 
Our volcano is what gives Pico its "soul" and its charisma. Its powerful charm makes you want to climb it. The venture is a demanding one, but one that provides breathtaking experiences.
Climbing Pico requires a certain physical aptitude. Although all hikers must register with the Civilian Protection Office at the base camp, we advise in the strongest possible terms that you hire a guide to can ensure your safety.

MOUNTAIN PICO SUNRISE CLIMBING
Begins with night climbing. Make sure you have a flashlight.
Watch the mountain wake up from 7,713 feet. It feels like welcoming dawn on the roof of the world while Pico projects its shadow over the Atlantic Ocean. You will also have a fantastic view of Faial and Sao Jorge Islands.

WHALE & DOLPHIN WATCHING
Until 1984, whale hunting was a major income source for the Azoreans, especially for Pico.
For more than 150 years, the islanders have been pursuing and hunting the sperm whale, commonly known as “baleia." From the lookout spots, called “vigias," the watchers would launch fireworks to alert people if they spotted a whale swimming in the area. Shouting “Baleia à vista!," they would leave everything behind and rush to the boats.
 
Live the unique experience of closely observing the biggest mammal on Earth. While at sea, you can be certain to spot pods of friendly dolphins that will play in your bow wave for hours. We can also provide you with the opportunity to swim with them.
 
And don't forget: watch how you watch! Whale watching means entering the habitats of these amazing creatures.

TREKKING: “THROUGH THE CORRAL VINEYARD" - FULL DAY

The path runs along an old route, bordered by the remains of walls built on the sea side, the end of the vineyards. Along the way, admire these peculiar walls built of human effort and annoying stones.
 
The "currais" protect the vineyard of salted sea air and strong winds, gestating patiently the magnificient atlantic nectars made with grapes that travel for centuries from Russia to USA. In 2004, the Landscape of the Pico Island Vineyard Culture was considered World Heritage by UNESCO.
